Well here we are again. After my sheepish posting about being listed as a finalist for the IAN Book of the Year Awards (Novella category), I got another jaw-dropping email today.

This one from Foreword Reviews.

The Serpent and the Swan, my wee fairy tale novella, won the Silver Medal Book of the Year Award for Fantasy.

Well, there we have it. Mine is officially an award-winning book. As I mentioned before, the excuses are ready and waiting to trot forward on my fingers, but I have received so much support from friends and readers that I cannot help feel loved. Thank you to everyone who encouraged me put my book out there even through all my myriad doubts.
